Physical Therapy FAQ
Do you take insurance for physical therapy?
Yes! We are in-network with most major insurance providers. Please contact our front office to verify your specific plan.
Do I need a referral from a doctor?
In most cases, no! Texas law allows direct access to physical therapy services for up to 10–15 business days without a referral. If further skilled treatment is needed beyond that, we’ll help you coordinate with your physician.
How long are PT sessions?
Initial evaluations are typically 60 minutes. Follow-up sessions range from 30-45 minutes depending on your individual plan of care and insurance.
What should I wear to PT?
Wear comfortable, workout-style clothing that allows for full range of motion. If you have a lower body injury, shorts are preferred.
Can I continue Pilates after I’m done with PT?
Absolutely! That’s the beauty of Flexology—once you're discharged from PT, you can transition seamlessly into our Pilates program to continue building strength and preventing reinjury.
